Scott is now the third generation in the family agency. He

took over the agency in October 2019 from his father Jon Ruggeri. He has been an agent with Ruggeri Insurance for over 20 years.  He graduated from Florida State University in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Before coming into the agency, Mr. Mitizak gained experience in the financial industry working for a local bank in Tallahassee, FCCI Insurance Group, and Arthur Anderson.
